Suzanne Somers
Before Suzanne Somers passed away, her husband Alan Hamel sent her this sentimental birthday present.
Before Suzanne Somers passed away on Sunday morning, her husband Alan Hamel sent her a loving early birthday gift.

According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity to Page Six, Hamel gave the “Three’s Company” actor a “handwritten love poem wrapped in her favorite pink peonies.”
Somers lost her lengthy fight with breast cancer one day before what would have been her 77th birthday.
According to People, the “Step by Step” actress “read the poem and went to bed before passing away quietly in her sleep.
The romantic poetry, according to the publication, included the line, “What kind of love do I have for my wife Suzanne?… The verbal equivalent is not even near.
It is not even close to being a fraction. Love without conditions won’t cut it. I won’t hesitate to be shot for you doesn’t cut it. I cry when I consider how I feel about you.
“There is no language. Nothing is being done. No guarantees. No announcements,” Hamel continued. Even the Oxford University Press’s green-shaded academics have spent 150 years searching for that one word without success.
“So I will call it, ‘us,’ uniquely, magically, indescribably wonderful ‘us.’”

Page Six was informed by a different Somers friend that her devoted husband was by her side when she passed suddenly.
“She died in her new ‘all green home’ in Palm Springs in her sleep with her loving husband by her side,” they claimed.

R. Couri Hay, the late actress’s longtime publicist, informed us of her departure on Sunday morning.
Early on October 15th, Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home. For more than 23 years, she battled an aggressive form of breast cancer, he stated in a statement.
Alan [Hamel], Suzanne’s devoted husband, her son Bruce, and her close family were all present.
Hay noted that Somers’ friends and family were going to celebrate her birthday on Monday.
“Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly,” he continued.
This week, a private family burial will be held; a memorial service will follow the next month.
In 1969, Somers and Hamel connected through the brief competition program “Anniversary Game.” In 1977, the two got married.
The actress and ex-husband Bruce Somers shared son Bruce Jr. during their nearly 50-year marriage, though they also had children together.
Somers was also the stepmother of Hamel’s two children from a previous marriage, Stephen and Leslie, and the grandmother of six grandchildren.
